MY 9 ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF 2023

With another year behind us, I find myself once again looking back and asking myself, "What even happened?!". It's so easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of...well, Life. Still, I'm happy to be able to find definite personal and professional highlights when reflecting on 2023 and would like to share them with you here. Feel free to click the links below if you're interested in learning more about any of the following in the list below.

MY 9 ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF 2023

(Disclaimer: Photos Not in Sequential Order)

  1. SCREENWRITING - I held a table read for a feature film I've been writing and received positive and constructive feedback from those involved.

  2. FEATURE FILM - I was cast in a SAG-Micro Budget Independent film (PTSD: A Soldiers Revenge) in December and was able to work with an amazing cast and crew (most notably Daniel Baldwin and Oksana Lada

  3. CENTERFOLD - The short film "Centerfold" had it's first screening at the Formosa Cafe in Hollywood as part of the monthly Night of Shorts Night Event

  4. STRANGERS - The short film I'm in titled "Strangers" screened at the Poppy Jasper International Film Festival

  5. SUNSET DRIVE - The short film "Sunset Drive" which I have a small role in has been cleaning up in the festival circuit and is likely to continue doing so well into 2024.

  6. STRIKE! - I joined the picket line with my fellow SAG-AFTRA members in our pursuit towards a fair contract moving forward in these unprecedented times.

  7. IMPROV - The Improv Troupe I'm a Part (The Pasadonuts) of Now Has Live Performances at The Pack Theater on the Third Friday of Each Month at The Pack Theater!

  8. THEATER - I played King Louis in a scene from the play Marie Antoinette by David Adjmi with two dear friends as co-stars while being directed by a longtime friend and collaborator.

  9. MUSIC VIDEO - The Famous Last Words Music Video I was in has reached over 3 Million Views

And there you have it. Some of these accomplishments were definitely in alignment with my goals. Some of my goals were not quite reached as a result of more obvious and some less obvious setbacks. Still, I'm grateful for the opportunities that came along and for the support of the people I was able connect and spend time with throughout . My resolve remains and can earnestly say that having taken stock of my 2023, I am now more than ever looking forward to whats to come in 2024.

If you took anything away from this post or have any goals you'd care to share as well, please let me know! I'm all for people supporting one another.

Happy New Year,

Clayton Stocker Myers
