MY 10 WINS OF 2024
Updated: Jan 25

I would be lying if I said that 2024 was an especially great year. Especially for the sake of the entertainment industry. Still I am grateful to say that I don't have to look hard for highlights of truly special moments and experiences I was fortunate enough to have throughout it, both personally and professionally. With that in mind I wanted to take a moment to share some of those career wins.
Feel free to click the links below if you're interested in learning more about any of the following in the list below.
______________________________________________
1. PHOTO SHOOT W/LOAN THACH - Loan is a powerhouse of a person, talented and capable of so many things. One of her many skillsets is photography. I'm flattered that she invited me to be a subject of one of her test shoots and am excited by the idea of working with her again, as well as more photographers in 2025!
2. YOU FEELING THIS - PODCAST - I was cast to provide a vocal performance in my good friend Kim Ndombe’s episode for season 2 of the anthology podcast “You Feeling This?” - To be released in April 2025
3. CALL FOR HELP! LA 48Hr FILM FESTIVAL DARLING - As a co-writer and co-star, I was fortunate enough to be invited by Eileen Chase to help create what would end up being the 3rd place, and a multi-award winning short film in the process. Some awards include - Best Writing, Best Ensemble, and Woman Filmmaker of the Year!
4. YES WE CANNES FILM FESTIVAL = TOXIC POSITIVITY - Due to the positive response from Call For Help!, the team was brought back together and once again made a solid short film within a significantly limited amount of time to compete for a slot in the actual Caned Film Festival.
5. SAG RADIO PLAY - DIMENSION-X PRESENTS - A LOGIC NAMED JOE - I had attended the prior season’s performance over the Summer and in doing so, told myself I Had to find a way to participate with this event someday. That someday came the following season and I so much fun playing with the rest of the cast and crew of Dimension-X's A Logic Named Joe
6. 2024 DISTINGUISHED ARTISTS AWARD RECIPIENT - This was unexpected to say the least, but I was humbled by the nomination and received this one a little closer to the heart given it’s coming from my home town.
7. NEIGHBORS NOW ON YOUTUBE - it’s always a good feeling when people you’ve worked with before think of opportunities to collaborate with one another again. This was one of those times. I’m continually inspired by Shaun Paul Costello’s drive and ambition towards making art, telling stories, and getting his work out there.
8. NEW ACTING REELS - I remember when I was doing my best to just scrape together enough material for one, 1-3 min acting reel. All these years later I have an embarrassment of riches spread across several reels (Acting, Comedy, Drama, Action, Commercial) and while I am grateful for the memories and my documented growth, I'm also excited to see what they will look like with what footage I gather from bookings this year!
9. KEEP THE LEARNING ALIVE:
- AUDREY LECRONE - DIALECT COACH - Oy! What a great learning experience. Not just how to do an accent but how to teach yourself how to approach learning an accent. Audrey is such an excellent instructor, I almost forgot how to Not speak with the Irish dialect we were honing together.
- TJ JAGODOWSKI - IMPROV COACH - If you’ve ever considered exploring the world of improv, TJ is like a gateway drug…but the healthy kind. Like, you’d end up addicted to Kale smoothies but the Kale Smoothies represent you saying “Yes, And.”
10. FROM THE PICKET LINE
- SAG VIDEO GAME STRIKE - The fight continues. If you like video games, chances are you like video game performers. In the same way that you need writers, designers, and developers to make these games come together, you NEED these amazing actors bringing the characters you fall in love with to life with their performances. And for that to continue to the level you’ve grown accustomed to, they need to receive fair compensation and job security as a result.
So take a minute and get familiar with the circumstances. Any support they can get will certainly help their cause and resolve.

As was the case with my recap from last year, some accomplishments fell in alignment with my goals. Some of my goals were not quite reached due to circumstances beyond my control.
Still, I'm grateful for the opportunities that came along and for the support of the people I was able connect and spend time with throughout . My resolve remains and can earnestly say that having taken stock of my 2024, I am now more than ever looking forward to whats to come in 2025!
What are some of Your wins? What are some of your goals for this wild year ahead?! Message me on Instagram (@ActorCSM). I'd love to hear from you!
Happy New Year,
Clayton Stocker Myers
