TAKE ME WITH YOU is a true testament to the collaborative nature of independent filmmaking. A passion project of it's writer Yvonne Cone, combined with the ambitious and proactive efforts of producer Steve Godoy, pulled together a cast and crew that clicked so naturally, the results speak for themselves.
I'm genuinely pleased with how this film ultimately came together and despite it's admittedly long time spent in post, continue to feel the end result was well worth the wait, as the memories of working with everyone involved to tell the story are some I continue to hold near and cherish.
For now, TMWY will begin it's sojourn into the land of festival submissions. Hopefully I'll be able to both share festival screening dates, but also private screening opportunities in the near future as I truly look forward to sharing this charming little short film with you and anyone interested.
